Formed in 2000 , Plan-It specialises in retail, exhibition, corporate and hospitality design, interior spaces and project management. The company is managed by brother and sister team Toby and Robyn, and has two small offices, one in Cape Town run by Robyn Self, the other in Johannesburg, run by Toby Self. This gives us flexibility in servicing our clients around the country and has enabled us to assemble a group of preferred suppliers and contractors based in both centres, which has also allowed us to trim travel and disbursement costs.The design team of Robyn and Toby (the latter is also responsible for graphics and fly-through presentations), assisted by specialist project manager Mauritz, have an in-depth knowledge of project development and take responsibility for the entire process, from the initial design concept through to costing and implementation. The client is thus assured of a turnkey project executed in a professional and transparent manner. Furthermore, Plan-It heads up the Design Committee at Canal Walk, one of the largest shopping centers in the Western Cape. This prestigious 'responsibility' continuously ensures that we, as a design company, are kept up to date with the latest trends from top international brand houses, and can thus offer excellent and sound design advise on any retail environment.
